I've been studying and trying online clinics to put together this full BHRT Review just for you! Currently, I'm 59 years old and have been on BHRT since I was 52 years old.

I started with troches that melt under your tongue, then switched to topical cream, which did nothing for me, then the infamous Estrogen Patch + Progesterone Tablets + Estradiol Vaginal Cream/or inserts and finally I've landed on the one that provides the best menopause relief for me.

Menopapuse Treatments that Really Work

Many of us really want over-the-counter supplements to work for menopause, but unfortunately they just don't. Why? Because Menopause is a decline in Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone and the only way to replace any or all three of those hormones with prescription medication.

BHRT (Bioidentical) medications come in different formulations. There are creams/gels you rub on your inner arms or thighs (called topical creams), there are pills/tablets, patches that you adhere to your torso, there are injections and some BHRT creams are administered via vagainal delivery with your fingers or a vaginal applicator.

For me, the combo cream that included Estrogen and Progesterone that was applied topically, via rubbing it on my inner arms, did eliviate the night sweats and hot flashes, but I still didn't feel great. I felt better on the Patch + Pill combo, but I still wasn't sleeping as well as I wanted so I kept looking for the best BHRT medication for me.

How Long Does it Take to See Results from BHRT?

For me, I noticed a difference from the first medication within a week. The night-sweats stopped and so did the hot flashes. It took a bit longer to get the stability back into my mood, but I found that I was coping better and not as anxious.

For any HRT regimen that you choose to try, be sure to give it at least 90-days before you call it quits. Most online BHRT providers prescribe in 90-supply which makes it easy to know when you get to that point and can ask yourself, do you feel as good as you hoped and if not, do you want to keep exploring?

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Cost

If you are prescribed BHRT that is in a standard formulation and dose, for example the Estrogen Patch in the .005 dosage, then you can get your meds from a local pharmacy using your prescription insurance or a GoodRx coupon code. However, you are at the mercy of the standardized formulations and limited doses if you go this route. No customization for you.

Many of the online Menopause Providers work closely with compounding pharmacies and can custom-create a formulation with a unique ratio of estrogen:progesterone that's just right for you.

These types of BHRT medications are not FDA approved because of the customization, however, always, always know that any product that includes estradiol and/or progesterone as the main ingredients are Bioidentical. These two ingredients ARE FDA approved and Bioidentical. It's the customization of the dose that prevents it from being approved in mass quanities like the other meds available at your local pharmacy.

When prescribed meds from my local pharmacy, I paid as little as $39 per month for a 90 day supply.
