I've been on HRT since 2019. I've tried troches that melt under your tongue, topical Estrogen/Progesterone cream that I rubbed on my inner arms, Estradiol Patches + Progesterone Tablets. What is Oestra Cream, by Inner Balance

Oestra Cream by Inner Balance is a cream that contains 3 mg of Estradiol, 100 mg Progesterone with a cream base. The cream base contains:

• Medium-Chain Triglycerides

• Hydrogenated vegan fat

• Polyoxyl Stearate

• Glyceryl Monostearate & Ricinoleate

• Poloxamer 407

• Polyoxyl 20

• Cetostearyl Ether

Oestra is delivered different that a topical cream that you might rub on your inner thighs or inner arms. It's intended for Vaginal Delivery either with your fingers or a disposable vaginal applicator.

You will apply once daily either AM or PM. Consistency is key with Oestra.

Does Oestra require a Prescription

Yes. Once you create an account and pay for first month, you'll be connected to an Inner Balance HRT Clinician. They will answer any questions you have and get your prescription sent to their partner compound pharmacy so it can be shipped directly to your front door.

At the three-month point, before they renew your prescription for a second three-month period, they will ask that you schedule an appointment with one of their HRT docs to discuss how you feel, determine if your dose is right and answer questions you may have.

How much does Oestra Cost

Inner Balance prescribes Oestra as a subscription. The cost for Months 1-6 is $199 per month and then starting on month seven, the cost is reduced to $99 per month, ongoing. The initial jar of Oestra contains enough cream for a full three months.

Even if at your three-month check-up with your Inner Balance clinician, if your are prescribed to increase your dose to two pumps daily, your cost doesn't increase. For me, that is comforting. It's nice to know that the cost remains the same regardless of my dosage.

How is Oestra by Inner Balance different from other HRT formulations

Oestra is a vaginal mucosa delivery and is systemic, meaning it works in the whole body. It bypasses liver's first pass metabolism to reduce unwanted matabolites. It provides consistent and stable blood levels that have been shown with vaginal delivery, specifically. It treats the whole body. Oestra is not intended for only vaginal dryness, but rather systemic Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Is Oestra covered by Insurance

All the ingredients in Oestra are FDA approved. However, because the actual formulation and specific dose hasn't gone through the rigorous FDA approval application process, your insurance will not cover Oestra.

Does Oestra Work

I've been using Oestra by Inner Balance for 120 days now. For me, the improvement in my sleep is been the biggest thing that I've noticed. I go to sleep faster and I stay asleep longer.

I felt really good on the Estradiol Patch, Estradiol inserts and Progesterone tablets, but it was a lot to juggle each week. The patch had to be changed out twice a week. I inserted the vaginal estradiol two times per week and then Progesterone Tablets nightly. It was a bit challenging at times to remember what needed to be done on which day.

Oestra is to be applied one time per day, at the same time, so it makes it easy to remember.
