Following the February 2026 FDA update regarding HRT labeling and compounding transparency, I have updated this post to reflect my latest labs and clinical discussions with my provider. Joi + Blokes is a national virtual telehealth platform specializing in personalized hormone optimization, wellness planning, and diagnostic testing for both women (Joi) and men (Blokes). Joi Wellness Labs for Hormone Testing
If you are a first-timer with Joi, they will ask you to create an account, choose a lab panel (Joi Blood Test), pay for it and complete the labwork at a Labcorp close to your home or office. They offer several panels/blood tests depending on your goals and what you are trying to learn.

The cost of the panel includes a 30-minute 1:1 consultation with a Joi/Blokes Clinician. Upon receipt of your labwork which will be sent to you and to Joi, they'll email you a link to schedule a telemedicine appointment to discuss your labs, your goals and help you understand if certain perscriptions or supplements might be beneficial to you.
Many of you are curious and want to see the data from the labs. Joi makes it easy to get tested so you have the data needed to create an HRT plan that is specific for you. The test don’t guess applies here.
Joi Wellness Cost
Joi's 2026 HRT Subscription plan is $150.00 per quarter and includes provider visits and the complete hormone lab panel at the 6-week mark of therapy and then quarterly visits and quarterly labs after that. Medication costs are not included in the $150 subscription plan.
This means every quarter you'll be able to see your current hormone blood levels and have a 1:1 consultation with a Joi clinician to evaluate if the meds are working for you as expected or do things need to be tweaked?
The typical Hormone Replacement Therapy regimen includes Estradiol, Progesterone and sometimes, DHEA or Testosterone. It will all be dependant on your labs and what your bloodwork shows. Joi is one of the few HRT providers who will prescribe testosterone if warranted.
Estradiol Patch - .05 mg dose/changed out twice per-week $267/quarter
Progesterone - 200 mg oral daily tablets - $ 162/quarter
DHEA - 25 mg oral once daily - $ 120/quarter
Testosterone Injection - $59-$69 per month
Does Joi Wellness Take Insurance
Joi does not accept medical insurance, so labs and 1:1 consultations will be paid for out of pocket or you can use your HSA credit card. Addionally, you can't utilize insurance for your Joi Hormone Subscription cost of $50 per month, billed quarterly.
If you are prescribed Hormone Replacement Therapy and specifically ask for medications that can come from your local pharmacy, they will do that for a service fee of $30. In this scenerio you could use prescription insurance or a GoodRx coupon code.
However, the more simple choice is to utilize their partner compound pharmacy and allow Joi to send the prescriptions directly to your home. When your meds come from a compound pharmacy, this means they were custom created for you and therefore won't be covered by prescription insurance. You can however, use your HSA credit card for the medications.

It was during my first initial Hormone Replacement Therapy 1:1 appointment that Dr. Brooke suggested I try a GLP-1 when I complained of excess weight I couldn't seem to drop.
Whether you qualify from an insurance perspective or not, your Joi Clinican can help you navigate what medications you might qualify for and if your insurance doesn't cover, then Joi has discount programs to get compound GLP-1's that work very similar to the name brand versions, without the high cost.
I've lost over 20 pounds since starting semaglutide and to this day, I continue to micro-dose and have been able to keep the weight off.
Joi & Blokes Review 2026
Joi was one of the first HRT telehealth companies that I tried. My 1:1's were very throrough and I learned something new each time I met with a Joi Clinician. Joi had me on the Estradiol Patch, Progesterone Tablets and for a while I was on Testosterone Injections.
I really appreciated the labs and data that Joi's complete hormone panel provided. Most of the other HRT telehealth providers don't require or even suggest labs as they work from the evidence based medicine therory, which also has a strong argument when you think about the cost and time it takes for labs and bloodwork. Only you can decide if the full white-glove treatment which includes quarterly labs and follow up appointments appeals to you?
I felt really good while I was a client of Joi+Blokes, but my sleep still wasn't where I wanted it so after about six months, I opted to try something a bit different to see if I could find the miracle I was looking for when it came to really good sleep.
That was when I found Oestra by Inner Balance. It's delivered vaginally, one time per day and means I don't have to juggle three seperate prescritpions. I immedicately noticed that my sleep improved.
