You will pay for the monthly subscription costs out of pocket with a credit card or you could use your HSA card. You can't use medical insurance for the subscription plan monthly fees.

Image of my Hormone Replacement Therapy Prescriptions
Allara will write your prescriptions for Hormone Replacement that can be picked up at your local pharmacy. A typical therapy is Estradiol patch/or pill, Progesterone tablet and sometimes they also add in a vaginal estradiol cream or insert. These prescriptions cost me about $97 for a 90 day supply using a GoodRx coupon or prescription insurance.

Does Insurance cover HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) for Menopause and Perimenopause

Yes, in my experience, when I visited with healthcare providers who only prescribed FDA approved HRT medications that can be picked up at my local pharmacy, it was covered by my prescription insurance. It typically cost me about $97 for a 90 day supply, not including any doc visits or subscription health plans.

Can I use my HSA card with Allara

Yes, you can use your HSA card for co-pays and deductibles with Allara.

Is Allara Health Worth It

Only you can decide if you feel the monthly subscription plus whatever copays and deductibles you may have for medications and labs make Allara worth it. I can say that in my mid 20's when I was struggling to get pregnant and my OB couldn't figure out why, I would have paid this and then some to get real answers. At that time in my life I didn't feel seen or heard and it would have been worth it to have someone on my side to advocate for me and how I felt.

The experts at Allara really know their stuff and can partner with you during your chronic care journey. They are saying goodbye to fragmented, disjointed care and prioritizing integrative treatments built around your unique needs.

Welcome

I am an HRT patient reviewer of online platforms. I've become a patient & paid out of pocket (sometimes with & sometimes without insurance) for every HRT product I've tried and review. These reviews are my honest experience as I continue to navigate menopause, just like you!
